ACTIVITY TITLE: Working group dream becomes a reality

Objectives

Objective of the two day meeting was to establish for the first time an all inclusive 15 member South central working group

Selection criteria process

Prior to calling for this NSAs constituency stakeholder, CRD NSA team had separate meetings with the Advisory board and senior CRD management in consultation with the process and format to draw up by forming the working group members. Finally, the following selection criterion was designed:

Total number of working group to be 15

Breakdown of positions:

12 posts out of the 15 were to be openly contested among delegates from the three sectors present at the meeting namely; the private sector, civil society and professional associations. Each sector was given four members to elect from among themselves on condition that one of the four must be female. The three remaining posts were reserved to be nominated on merit by CRD advisory board.
